I recently worked on a mini design makeover for a master bedroom. The bits of info I was given: she likes Tiffany blue, damask & toile patterns, black and white with a pop of color. She doesn't want anything too modern, nor anything too traditional.
First some inspiration:
Love the pale blue walls with monochromatic window treatments - keeps it simple and clean by not breaking up the walls with a different color or pattern.
Love the use of the bold black bed frame and the layered black and white patterns! Using a traditional chandelier over a bed gives it a glamorous feel, and pairing it with bold black and white keeps it modern.
Here is the Robin's Egg blue used in a floral print throughout the room. The simple palette keeps the room from feeling overdone.
